Petra Silton is a consultant for Tideline.

Petra is an energetic connector and leader passionate about bringing people together to turn ideas into action to create a better and more just world.

She is the principal of Petra Silton Consulting, which specializes in strategic planning and execution, stakeholder engagement, and expert meeting facilitation.

Petra has spent 30+ years initiating and leading groundbreaking programs to support a wide variety of issues, including the environment, homelessness, education, and civic participation. She led advocacy, outreach, and education initiatives to help nonprofits amplify the impact of their work. She has created and led innovative social programs to employ the formerly homeless in a social enterprise and to empower low-income students to access private schools. She co-founded and co-chaired the Voter Engagement and Outreach Advisory Committee for San Mateo County. She currently holds regular convenings addressing hot topics to educate, connect, and empower Silicon Valley leaders.

In addition to her consulting business, Petra is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Conservation through Poverty Alleviation, International (CPALI) and the Advisory Board Chair for Acterra, Action for a Healthy Planet.

Petra has her BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
